Back in 2018, I had the pleasure of creating a floral installation for the Wonderous Stories Film Festival (WSFF), held at the historic Stolper Turm just outside of Berlin. This project was a special opportunity to merge my love for plants with the unique character of this iconic location.

The festival's theme celebrated storytelling, creativity, and cultural exchange. To reflect this, I designed an archway bursting with vibrant textures and bold colors — a living frame for the event's entrance. Inspired by the rustic stone tower and the surrounding nature, I incorporated exotic blooms like proteas, anthuriums, and pincushion flowers, balanced with lush green foliage and palm leaves. The result was a striking yet organic piece that felt alive and inviting.

Working on-site was both exciting and challenging. The Stolper Turm’s rough brick textures and wooden beams provided a rich backdrop, so I ensured the floral design felt integrated yet impactful. The warm tones of the flowers played beautifully against the earthy setting, creating a vibrant welcome for festival-goers.

This project remains one of my favorites — a blend of art, nature, and storytelling. If you're planning a special event and want to infuse it with botanical charm, I'd love to help create something memorable.
