About the Artist
Sky (b.2019) is a young Chinese–Swedish artist born in Berlin and currently growing up in Lisbon. She is the daughter of artist Andreas Skoglösa and Amelie Tu
Deeply connected to nature, Sky spends much of her time outdoors exploring forests, climbing trees, skating, and observing the world around her. Her artistic expression reflects the freedom and curiosity of childhood. Without formal rules or expectations, her paintings emerge instinctively through movement, color, and emotion.
Sky’s works capture a rare moment of creative purity, where imagination flows freely and intuition guides every mark.

Artwork
Untitled
Watercolor on paper
This painting was created through spontaneous brush movements and splashes of color. The flowing shapes and vivid pink tones evoke the natural rhythms of wind, water, and organic landscapes.
Like many children’s artworks, the piece carries a raw energy that is difficult to replicate once artistic expression becomes more controlled. It captures a moment of imagination before structure replaces instinct.
The artwork was later translated into a woven form, preserving the original gestures and movement of the brush.

About the Rug
Material: 100% Finest Moroccan Wool
Size: 180 × 123 cm
This rug is hand-knotted in Morocco using traditional techniques practiced by the Beni M’rirt tribes from the town of M’rirt in Khénifra Province.
Known for producing some of the most refined rugs in Morocco, Beni M’rirt artisans use exceptionally fine wool to create surfaces that are incredibly soft, dense, and durable. Each rug is crafted knot by knot through a slow and meticulous process passed down across generations.
Unlike traditional tribal patterns, this rug translates a child’s original artwork into wool, turning a fleeting moment of creativity into a lasting textile form.
The result is a piece that exists between art, craft, and interior design.
Only one rug has been produced from this artwork, making it a unique and collectible piece.

Craft & Sustainability
At Äventyr, we believe in creating objects that carry meaning and longevity.
Our rugs are made from 100% natural wool, supporting traditional artisan communities while embracing a slower and more sustainable approach to production. Handmade pieces carry subtle variations in texture, pattern, and color, ensuring that no two rugs are ever identical.
These differences are not imperfections but part of the character of a truly handmade object.

The Heritage of Moroccan Rugs
Moroccan rugs embody centuries of artistry, tradition, and cultural expression. Crafted by skilled Berber women in the remote Atlas Mountains and beyond, these masterpieces were originally created not just for warmth, but as symbols of identity, storytelling, and protection.
Each region across Morocco has its signature style, defined by heritage and landscape. The refined elegance of Beni Ourain rugs with their understated black-and-white geometry contrasts with the sumptuous textures of Beni M’rirt, woven with unparalleled precision. Azilal rugs captivate with their abstract, vibrant motifs, while Boujad rugs enchant with their bold hues and free-spirited compositions.
Beyond their visual appeal, these rugs are infused with meaning—each knot and pattern carrying whispers of personal stories, ancestral wisdom, and tribal symbols passed down through generations. The hand-spun wool, natural tones, and meticulous craftsmanship elevate Moroccan rugs into timeless works of art.
Today, they are sought after by connoisseurs of fine interiors, seamlessly blending heritage with modern luxury. Whether adorning a contemporary space or complementing a traditional design, Moroccan rugs offer an enduring connection to the soul of a culture where artistry and authenticity reign supreme.
